Is it right to taxidermy pets?
My dog recently died, well actually my dads had killed him. I really miss him, he was the only friend I could relate to, do you think it would be right to make him a taxidermy?
You really have to decide if that is something you can handle. He’s not going to look the same or feel the same… he won’t be soft. He’s not going to be the dog you remember. I lost my cat after 15 years; she was my very best friend. But I couldn’t even have her cremated because I couldn’t stand the thought of her body being reduced to ashes. But I also wouldn’t be able to stand to see her STUFFED. She wouldn’t be warm or life-like… You have to really consider this. You may just be better off making a photo memorial. Eventually you will heal.
